My name is Claire, I am a mum and full time carer to our teenage son, wife and dog mum to Copper our Fox Red Labrador.

After watching the 2024 season of Strictly Come Dancing and listening to both Tasha and Chris saying that you can overcome anything (which they are both proof of!) it made me realise how much confidence I have lost over the last few years due to my own hearing loss.
So I decided to bite the bullet and start doing what I enjoy....writing! I enjoy the planning, the research, the taste testing (if food is involved) and the photography that brings everything together.
The last few years haven't been the easiest for my family due to some serious health issues (mine), a house move and a job change (my husband's not mine). We had to decide whether we were going to crumble under the pressure or navigate our way through it all with pockets of positivity, which we did, with some fun along the way! Of course having Copper has certainly helped, through some of the harder times!
